Arrival & Check-in Time

Please refer to your lease for the specific check-in time for your booking. If you have any questions about your check-in time, please contact your rental agent or our office. Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, the check-in time stated on your lease is when access to the property will be available.

Please note that early check-ins are unavailable during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). To ensure a smooth check-in process, please do not arrive at or attempt to access the property before your specified check-in time. You must check in at our office prior to accessing the rental property.

Check-in Location

All guests must check in at our Coastline Realty office located at 941 Columbia Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204.  Our office has ample off-street parking located in the parking lot to the right of our building. There is additional free parking on Columbia Avenue adjacent to our office.

Check-in Process (During Business Hours)

To check in during business hours, please use our front entrance on Columbia Avenue. Please bring valid identification. If someone other than the leaseholder will be checking in, please notify us or your rental agent beforehand. Upon check-in, we’ll provide you with access details, property information, and local tips to enhance your stay

Check-in Process (After Business Hours)

For after-hours check-ins, please notify your rental agent or our office in advance of your arrival. If we don’t hear from you by closing time, we’ll attempt to contact you using the provided information. Our secure after-hours check-in process is located at our Coastline Realty office at 941 Columbia Avenue in Cape May. This option is available to guests arriving after business hours and before the following day’s opening.

Check-out Process (During Business Hours)

Please refer to your lease for the specific check-out time. Check-out times vary between properties but are typically between 9:30 AM and 12 PM. Most properties have a check-out time of 10AM.

Kindly vacate the property, including the driveway, by your designated check-out time. Keys must be returned to our Coastline Realty office promptly after check-out. During business hours, you can drop them off at our main entrance, through the key drop at the front door, or in the key drop behind our office. Please return keys in the provided packet if possible."

Check-out Process (Outside of Business Hours)

If checking out outside of business hours, please return keys to the key drop slot at our main entrance or the one located under the overhang behind our office. Kindly return keys in the provided packet if possible.
