105 West Grant Street - Buddys Beach House

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buddy’s Beach house. We loved sitting on the deck after a day at the beach. We played games at night in the living room and had lots of laughs. Love the area and would definitely rent again!

This was a perfect house for my family of six for the week. It’s bigger in person than what the pictures look like. The pride of ownership is evident throughout the renovations and overall condition of the house. It was up to my very high cleaning standards as well. The dining room seats 6 perfectly and there is also an extra chair in the living room. I wouldn’t have more than 6 people stay here though. The location to the beach was nice - it was a short bike ride away although I do feel that cape may isn’t a very bike friendly town as many cars sped all throughout town (just something to keep in mind if you have young children bike riding to the beach). The beach box was a perfect size for 6 beach chairs, umbrellas and two boogie boards. We were amazed at all the dolphins we saw on the beach, but watch out for the super aggressive sea gulls on the beach. The owner also has a few board games in the house along with a fully stocked kitchen with a variety of different sized coffee mugs which is always helpful. I don’t have any complaints about the house but three suggestions. One - they need another recycling container. Ours was full when we arrived and we filled it up within a day or two. Two: a keyless entry door would be nice. Many rentals that I have stayed in recently have keyless entry which I prefer. Three: there is no place to store bikes on the property so they got wet each night from the rain and sprinklers. Someplace to keep them covered would have been nice. Cape May is a cute beach town and if I were to return I’d stay here again.
